Yes! But it is just a small incision, pinky promise. In fact we are cutting up the R34 Nissan Skyline front brace. To be more precise we will cut out the middle part of the upper front brace. Normally it holds the upper mounts of the radiator and part of the bonnet lock brace.
Actually this is a pretty common mod. It eases the tedious process of inserting and removing the engine into the R34 Skyline engine bay with the gearbox attached. The added benefit of cutting it out now, is that we can jump in and out of the engine bay far quicker.
